| Fashioned-by-the-Father Grade three has a wonderful tradition of providing opportunity for each grade three student a chance to 'shine' for a whole week.
Fashioned-by-the-Father is a time where students may bring to school pictures, models, toys, or anything they would like to show how God has blessed them with individual uniqueness.
When it is your child's turn, you will want to gather up a few things for the Monday morning to put up on the special bulletin board in the classroom. Pictures of themselves, friends, family, pets, holidays are all good ideas. Students may bring in their favourite stuffy and other special items they think is special. Please keep in mind that items MAY get handled so 'Grandma's heirloom doll' would not be a good choice to put on display for a week in a gr. 3 classroom!
Additionally, students will receive a package to be filled out during the week describing a bit about themselves. This will be presented on Friday morning where all family members are welcome to attend and be introduced.
There is no QDPE on Friday mornings so Fashioned-by-the-Father will take place immediately at 8:40am so it is easier to arrange for busy working parents to stay for a few minutes. If possible, try to re-schedule things so you can attend!
