 The learning community at Kelowna Christian School emphasizes relational instruction and standards of excellence in all areas. Effective learning begins with caring, safe and supportive relationships between students and faculty. The focus of the teaching and support staff is two-fold: to understand the learning needs of each student and to establish a culture of love and respect. Through this relationship, students are encouraged to pursue excellence in all areas of learning.
Kelowna Christian School offers a comprehensive, college preparatory, academic program from preschool to grade 12. Our school has consistently received high rankings in all standardized performance assessments such as the Foundation Skill Assessments (FSA), the Fraser Report, and Canadian Achievement Tests. In addition to the academic program, Kelowna Christian School offers a full complement of Applied Skills courses in Fine and Performing Arts, Physical Education, Computer Sciences, and Home Economics. Kelowna Christian School has an established and very successful competitive sports program, and there are numerous opportunities to participate in team and individual sports events throughout the school year.
From the students, to the programs, to the specific lessons that are taught each day, our goal at Kelowna Christian School is to nurture each young person in all dimensions- body, soul and spirit- in the truth of God’s Word.
